Andrew Chifari of Dallas, Texas is now a world record holder. But it’s not for something athletic or intellectual, but for his Starbucks order. Have you ever witnessed such a monstrosity as his 128-ounce espresso shake?
The technical name for his drink is a “Sexagintuple Vanilla Bean Mocha Frappuccino”. “Sexagintuple” means 60, as in it took 60 shots of espresso to get the drink over the $50 mark. The total order came to $54.75, breaking the previous record of $47.30 for the most expensive drink ever ordered at Starbucks.
The best part? Andrew didn’t pay a dime for the drink – he’s a member of their loyalty program, which entitles him to a free drink after every 12 that he purchases. So he decided to go buck-wild with the freebie!
He had to use his own 128-ounce glass to contain the beast. Because, you know, Starbucks doesn’t just hand those things out.
And the big question is whether he could even survive drinking this thing in one sitting. The short answer is yes, he would survive, but it’s NOT recommended! According to Consumerist, the drink contains about 4.5 grams of caffeine, about half the amount it would take to kill you if ingested at one time.
And, finally, presenting the biggest, priciest, and deadliest Starbucks drink ever assembled:
